Kelly's Tele Build Thread

Really looking forward to following this.

And don't worry about the feet in the pics. They beat Mark's shoes at least.

Well not quite yet.

If anyone has a spare Squier Affinity Tele neck with a maple board, I'd be willing to pay you for it.

Yeah, well, the best things take time.

In all seriousness this is the first time since I started this in high school that I've had ready access to the tools and supplies I need. I put on a coat of Birchwood-Casey grain filler and sealer last night and when I get back from the road i'm gonna give it a light sanding and do another one, then follow it up with tru-oil. The end result is going to look nothing like the original concept other than a rails and a full-size. For now it will have the rosewood neck, but eventually I plan on buying a squier tele neck to throw on becasue I like the profile of those and I prefer maple boards for my tele.
