It provides 4 additional channels which will allow me to easily connect the three guitars, yet is more compact than most mixers.

I wish. I now have my standard tuning acoustic, the open tuning acoustic, and the electric guitar that I use for a full performance; the Fishman has two channels. With this, you can actually use those two channels plus the four added ones.

I really don't have the time right now to try to rehearse with other musicians. I plan to cut back next fall; maybe I can do something then.
