For the record, I've cranked my Bugera 1960 Infinium (same circuit as the Marshall 1959RR) through it and it took it just fine. Sure, it got warm, but that's what it's supposed to do. In a video with The Tone King Mike Soldano himself said that he designed it to take a 100 watt amp full tilt, not 100 watts peak.
