wow. Howie has his work cut out for him to find something uglier than that.
 
You know, I've been seeing a lot of really impressive stuff coming out of the Framus factory these past few years...it's hard to believe this came from there...
 
To me it reminds me of the EB Petrucci Majesty
You mean the pickguard?
Because that's the first thing I've noticed, and it's..... um.... really EEWWW.
Plus it has a smaller headstock, but still manages to have that huge split between the D and the G strings.
 
I had to get a better look at it. There's some aspects I like about it, like the way the strings come off the bridge to the "string thru" ferrules. It's certainly ornate and I'd bet it plays like a dream and sounds great too, but yeah, it doesn't fire up my GAS jets either. Too much coin going into a somewhat odd looking pairing of quilt and flame maple top. I also like the depth of the instrument, not too thick, not too thin. Oddly, my first guitar was/is a '66 Framus acoustic.


It kind of looks like someone from the Minarik guitar company got on thorazine, went to work for Framus and managed to show some restraint.
