an Aston is the ONLY thing i like better than an early 60's Jag E-Type.
and they are B U I L T.
i remember reading in Autoweek (back in around 1985) where they gathered up all the supercars of the day and took them to Nurbergring and ran them as fast as they would go.
they had an Aston V8 Vantage (first year?) and had it up to a little over 175 mph (4500 Lb. Car).....and ran it past the redline and lost an exhaust valve and were STILL going over 175!!!
damn things are built like a tank.
