We are getting a J Gumbo's here in Kalamazoo in the not too distant future.

Jambalaya, gumbo, Po-Boys, etc.

Anyone here been to one before? Worth going to, or just another strip-mall joint like the Noodle Co., Chipotles, etc.?

Never heard of them but it looks like it could be alright. Maybe a step above a strip mall joint. I'd try it.
 
They opened a couple of months ago, but I finally stopped in today.

I got the Drunken Chicken over white rice. Delicious, for fast food :) I would certainly eat there again. I did notice however that they do not have salads. A small side salad would have been perfect along with that bowl of drunken chicken :embarrassed:

I got a to-go bowl of the Voodoo Chicken to eat later on eat0
 
The Voodoo Chicken is delicious, but it's a bit hotter than the Drunken Chicken. I like them both, but the Voodoo is really pushing the heat for me.
