Yesterday I really wanted one.

Today, while I was impressed with the price, I was not impressed with the following:

a) way more square in shape than I though... I thought it would be wide and narrow like a Kindle... which fits in a jacket pocket. The iPad needs a man bag.

b) won't play any Adobe flash content... making huge percentages of webpages useless.

c) Annoyingly large bezel compared to the iPhone and iPod touch (making much of the overall size wasted as in no control surface or screen)

The lack of flash hasn't prevented thousands of iphone and ipod touch owners from enjoying theirs.

I think they'll sell a ton.

Flash is a huge processor hog. The sooner it goes away and is replaced by something
less piggy the better. There are far better solutions out there to accomplish what
flash does with far less system overhead.

Yup. A pretty unimpressive release, as far as I'm concerned. It's probably the first Apple product that's really underwhelmed me (maybe aside from the tiny iPods — who cares about those? ).
