I've been obsessing over old German parlor guitars lately. Found one on eBay Classifieds and spent a whole week obsessing over it to make sure it was what I really wanted. 1962 Framus 5/1, pretty darned clean but with honest scratches, neck looks straight and tuners look solid for 95 bones. Just pulled the trigger. It's so cute though plain. One of the nicest looking ones I've seen.

Nice score!

An inexpensive parlor guitar is at the top of my G.A.S. list right now.

Gretsch Jim Dandy parlors can be had for about a hundred as well. 120+ for the ones with the already 65 dollars worth Deltoluxe pickup.

I love mostly that Framus, Hofner and Co were all built just a few miles from my wife's hometown. My brother-in-law worked for Framus as a young teen. Otherwise I may have bought the Gretsch.
