Actually Shawn was the one who turned me on to the damn thing at Pragestock the year I went. I've had one ever since. You can find most of these sounds in a dedicated pedal that is better but for the money it is the best way to get all of these sounds in such a small footprint. It's definitely a staple of my large rig.

I think you can't go wrong with either Mobius or the Boss MD-500. I think they both sound great from what I've heard online. I'm more interested in the MD-500 since it's $100 cheaper AND you can use two modulation effects at once, while the Mobius is still just one mod type at a time.

Good to know you have one as well...I'm sure I'll have LOTS of questions about setting it up and programming it.
This is a total PITA to set up but if you have a MIDI interface for your computer it really makes programming and organizing your big Strymon pedals easier: http://www.strymon.net/support/nixie/
