If Gargamel actually succeed and caught and ate all the Smurfs you think his life feel empty after

Gargamel now has a kettle boiling with water, ready to stew Smurfs in, when he turns to his captives for any last words. Poet emerges from the brush and says that he does, to which Gargamel obliges. The village muse then unrolls a very long scroll and begins to recite a poem that causes the evil wizard to sob bitterly over the thought of having no more Smurfs to catch, and even Azrael breaks out in tears

Smurfs are a lot like Taenia saginata, the pork tapeworm, in their lifecycle. The blue smurfs we all know and love are but one part of the smurf lifecycle, a gravid proglitid structure that when ingested results in thousands of oncospheres hatching and burrowing into the intestinal wall of the host to reach permissive replication sites such as the gut, the eye, the muscle, and the brain. Long term replication of these oncopsheres results in worm filled cyst formation in these tissues. I suspect Gargamel would slowly digest his own tissue as he went blind and quite mad. He would die a mindless, blind fool in a pool of his own bloody excrement, in considerable agony as 'mature' smurfs emerged from his carcass to infect a new round of evil wizards.
