I might get a reverb pedal - new content! NPD!

I’ve been working with the Talisman the last couple days, it is a much different animal than the Boing. It is a nice clean reverb when you have it mixed in low, but if you turn it up and start tweaking, you get into near-digital delay territory. Fun stuff, but tbh in my hands it is doomed to spend most of its life in “just a touch of reverb” mode. Which it seems to do really well.

To summarize the two options:
  • The Boing is perfect for adding a reverb knob to an amp that doesn’t have one of its own. Both the sound and the simple one-knob functionality are right on. If you turn it up, you get into dripping springy surf country.
  • The Talisman has a different feel, being based on plate rather than spring reverb. It does the subtle reverb sound very well, and if you turn it up and experiment you can get some good spacey effects going.

Wait...... you can use a PEDAL to get reverb? :embarrassed:
