I hadn't heard Kotzen play or sing before. He's terrific. It's nice to hear Portnoy not grossly overplaying for once. Any yeah Billy, what the fuck?
 
Speaking of big fat neck carves... Here's how my Thorn compares to an EBMM neck and a PRS Wide Fat. :helper:

The drums do sound great. Nice compression, and you're getting the sound of the beater strike on the batter head for that clicky sound.
 
I glanced in a mirror while I was practicing the other day and realized why so many necks feel tiny to me... my stupid fat meat hooves. :facepalm:

and this is with the 1" thick neck. On narrow or thin necks, my thumb flops around on the fingerboard like a beached porpoise. :embarrassed:
