Dig it! I got the SG back!!! ("no SG for me" - updated)

Highernoon

Burninator
Hopefully come back less then 1 year.

Today this happened:

UPDATE (how do I edit thread titles here?):
It seems that it will be less than 1 year (though only now,
looking at the date on the opening post, I've realized how much time have passed).
The SG is at the guitar tech's workshop, waiting to be fixed and set up.
What we have planned:
Changing the nut (bone-like material with "bone" in it's name, he said that's the closest to what I currently have)
Installing a string butler
Changing the tuning keys (the Gotohs aren't an exact fit, he said fitting them is possible but will
deny the possibility to install the string butler, but he gave me a discount for them [thanks Smurfco, you rule])
Fret work

Gonna have a set of 10-52 on it.

Oh, and apparently the SG's neck thickness is about 21 mm at the 1st fret
and 24.7 at the 12th fret (kinda surprised me).

I'd leave title the same but, that's me. I'd only change the title to practice changing thread titles. How do you edit a thread title? When you are on a thread you started, on the right side of the screen, under the search box, is what's new, under that is thread tools and watch thread. Click on thread tools. The only option is edit title. Click on that.

The nut is new (graphtech nubone), the frets are crowned/leveled/shiny,
the string butler is installed, a new set os Grover deluxe tuners is installed and the guitar
probably looks better than it did on the day I bought it (he even got all the gunk/dust out
of the saddles - if it weren't for the corrosion on the bridge I'd be sure he put a new one)

Here are the pictures he sent me:

I got it yesterday and am super exited, let the second honeymoon begin.

In the last couple of years I was (probably out-of-proportionally) worried about
the 3x3 headstock and the split it causes, especially between the D and G strings.
I'm pretty sure I found out about the string butler here, I saw another thing-a-ma-jig
for the issue on a Youtube tutorial (about another subject, the guy just had it on his
guitar and explained what it was in case anyone was wondering), but it did not look as neat as the string butler.
