I didn't mean to buy a Les Paul

rhino

Kick Henry Jackassowski
but it's a 60s tribute Goldtop with p90s and it was only $600. It's got some wear, but the price was right.

Initial impressions:

the neck is thin for my taste, but it plays pretty fast, and feels good. Already getting used to it.

It does that whole Les Paul sustain and go make a sandwich thing. Fun for slide.

I'm surprised with how much I like the clean tones. It's nice and jangly with a light attack and drives the amp well when you dig in.

If you ever want to trade for a 50's Tribute, let me know - neck's too thick for me. All else is gorgeous and nice.

Very nice axe there.

498 / 490 I think, but I bought a spare set of PAFs I'm open to including ....

Guitar is very nice, just that neck is too much woman for me.
