My pedal board issue is that the board power only has outputs for 6 pedals . So unless I want to spring for a new power supply I can only have 6 pedals. Well - seven since I am getting an ABY pedal and they usually only use batteries.

Some pedals that aren't power hungry will work off a splitter.

What kind of tuner do you have? I know that if you have a Boss or TC Polytune, you can add another cable to the tuner to provide another pedal with power.

I have a Boss tuner.....good idea....
