Listen to this - How come no Juber?

I hear a lot of great guitarists mentioned on these pages, but this guy might as well not exist. I find his stuff extremely tasty.

There are hundreds of great guitarists we don't discuss for a variety of reasons. Juber is a monster, but his music doesn't do much for me.

I recon someone like this will get similar mixed reviews.

I mean he is far and away the best Dobro player who has ever lived. It isn't even a question.

Yes. If you mean Dobro stylistically.

If you consider other styles of lap slide, then it gets competitive.

For instance:

Or Bob Brozman, even though I can't listen to him any more.

Yes, I mean square neck Dobro with a bar, and mainly bluegrass.

There are many great slide players out there playing lap or normal, round and square neck, acoustic and electric.

Not sure who you posted, the link was broken. Debashish Bhuttacharaya maybe?

Bob was one of my favorites. We have had that discussion so no need to revisit.

Mr Dave as well.

One of my favourite guitar vids ever, regardless of instrument or style.

LJ can do pretty much anything on the guitar. Love his playing

A fave of mine from LJ from a CD he produced for Al Stewart. LJ does all the really cool the playing in this tune.
