    DESCRIPTION:
This one is a very special guitar from Versoul called the Shamn Raya. This guitar has some special Finnish features (yes, as in Finland). The artistic gold leaf and shell figures are inspired by pre historic Finnish rock paintings which are are dated from circa 4500-7000 years ago.
The most important figure in pre-historic cultures in the Northern hemisphere was a shaman, who was the link between the spiritual world and man. Here the shaman has a special two pointed hat as found on rock paintings from Northern Finland. The Shaman was also a ceremonial master and here, dancing tribe members are included in the background on both sides of this Raya's body. The link between man and nature was very important and the moose figure on back side of the body is symbolic of that.
    REGARDING THE MATERIALS:
The hardware is chrome plated, except stainless steel strings through guide plate on body and nickel plated tuners. The top of the body is made of book matched very rare Finnish visa birch as headstock face & pot cavity cover plate and finished in dark brown transparent nitrocellulose lacquer. The alder body is heavily chambered with two chambers. The back of the body is made of book matched Finnish curly birch and finished in brown sunburst. Two Versoul humbucker pick ups with one volume and tone controls and a three way switch. Buttons are hand made of East Indian rosewood by Versoul.
The bolted on neck is made of Finnish aspen and curly maple in dark brown transparent finish with East Indian rosewood fingerboard scale length 25.4" with special green abalone shell shaman inlay. The frets are special bronze alloy and vintage small size. Nut is Finnish wild moose's shin bone. High quality Gotoh SE700 tuners and Gotoh 510 bridge with Versoul stainless steel string guide/strings through body. Maple bindings and wooden purflings on both side of the body and fingerboard and headstock. Pot cavity plate visa birch veneer in dark brown transparent nitrocellulose lacquer. Gold leaf figures, the shaman, dancing figures, moose: on top of the body and back of the body are inspired by ancient Finnish rock paintings from 4500-7000 years ago.
Shaman Raya has very special open spiritual tone, the emerged Mojo from ancient times!

I would rock it in a more plain version with regular pickups, oh and a much more friendlier price tag.
