Looking for some classic rock tone & volume? Look no further....this late '70s Ampeg V-4 rig is just the ticket! It does have a master volume mod which works fine, otherwise it's in good original condition. Our price is $799 for the whole shooting match.

if yer reason is collecting great vintage amps....then yea....it's cool

but if yer gonna use that amp in anything less than an a arena.....it's WAY to loud

Is that a bass rig? Are you talking using it for guitar or bass?

Anyways, for live use I can see that for a bass rig, but more than I’d want for guitar.

Actually for me personally, even too much for a bass rig, haha, ‘cept maybe for occasional use, like an outside gig and I just feel like going old school. (I consider stage amps, especially big stage amps to be “old school”.) :)

I decided to vote “not”, cause it’s unnecessarily big/heavy, I don’t even like the concept of amps on stage, and I have a completely-unjustified dislike for Ampeg.

I really wish I could use Jesse Ventura's line from Predator without sounding like a total dick...
cuz really, the phrase "slack-jawed faggots" is pretty good.

Mainly coming from the bass side but I love Ampeg. I'd like to get one of those old flip-top bass combos someday.
