Those things have just never looked right to me. I like the modern Fender Tele bridge/pickups/pick guard much better.
I do like this color, though, and it would be cooler with a maple board.

It gets a pass from me cuz it's a G & L. But I just don't like contour cuts on something that is supposed to be a Tele-style guitar. And, yeah, a maple board is much preferred.

yeah i dont like those either. But im not going to second guess Uncle Leo.
On a Fender Fender I hate contours, but on a Geo and Leo Fender they get a pass from me.
