I ate at the new Hopcat, Kalamazoo location last night.
Their 'crack' fries have consistently been voted best fries in Michigan, and they were indeed very good
crispy on the outside and soft n' flakey on the inside, and they have some sort of sprinkled cracked pepper-type thing sprinkled on them that makes you just want to keep on eating them
Food was pretty decent for pub food, I had their little single-serving square pizza topped with smoked pulled pork & mushrooms. Pizza sauce was very flavorful. Standard pub menu of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, mac n' cheese, fish n' chips, etc. but everything looked good.
They don't brew their own beer, but everything they serve is craft beers from micro breweries from all over Michigan.
And, pertinent to these forums, they have Heritage guitars hanging on the walls
I didn't take any pics of the guitars, as most were hanging on walls above tables or booths and the place was full last night.
