Happy new used partscaster guitar day!

I wanted to trade my unloved American fat strat Texas special, and found something interesting locally -- this is perhaps the ultimate in weird and unique. It started life as a Charvel and had the body refinished, a new neck (nice flamed maple) with Schaller locking tuners installed, and most importantly, the pickups replaced with a Duncan hot stack neck and a Tom Holmes H450 in the bridge. Oh yeah -- and the bridge is one of those massive 2Tek fixed bridges.

Anyway -- I'm enjoying it right now. It's lighter than my strat, and the bridge PU is one of the fattest, yet clearest I've ever played.

I hope you didn't trade your Strat for that. Enjoy your new guitar regardless.
