Cool! What the lowdown on pups?

Grissom spent a year working with PRS to get a pickup that when in humbucking mode had the warmth and articulation from his vintage 335 Gibson, but could be tapped without losing much volume and get Fendery single coil sounds. The pickups have never been made available outside of the DGT guitar, but occasionally people have been known to change out some pickups and offer them in places within reach of demented mad scientists.
