HNAD! Mesa Boogie Express 5:25

What I've found on my express is that the tone stack, in particular the treble, is very interactive with the gain. I've also found that I don't like the single-ended (5w) setting at all, even at low vol.

I'm certainly noticing the treble thing.

I like the 5 W setting, but the amp seems to have fatter tones on the higher wattage settings. But then, I like twang, mang.

I play mostly single coil guitars these days, and find I keep the t/m/b at 2PM/11AM/11AM (approximately). This is the same on both channels, with maybe a little less bass on the "burn" setting.

I find even at low vol that I like the 30w setting - the master vol really doesn't take the meat out of the tone like it does on many Fender amps.
