Interesting name. A Bassbreaker used to be a custom shop combo with the amp from a 4x10 Bassman and a 2x12 cabinet. I wonder why Fender thinks guitar players want these. Is rockabilly coming back again? And why didn’t it occur to them to add an overdrive channel that uses the old RE-301 Space Echo preamp?

The little 007 combo has 2 12AX7s in the pre, and a EL84...same price as an AC-10...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

I don’t think amp designers can hear well enough to even know that they do this.

Actually, my Pro Jr. Did just that.

Every Fender amp I've come across over the last 25 years does that. All the volume pretty much between 0 and 3.

I'm very interested in the 18/30.

Channel switches between a 30-watt AB763 BF Deluxe and 18-watt 6G3 Brown Deluxe. Damn near perfect combination, IMHO.
