back in 1968(ish) soon after Joe hooked up with Jim Fox and Dale Peters and formed The James Gang, before records, they played a bunch of clubs in Cleveland and Youngstown. i lived 13 miles from Youngstown in those days (in Pa.) and we would go over to the Youngstown Agora to see them. those were the days.
that's kinda why i posted the link to the Kent State U. article.
