I haven't. That's impressive.
I wonder if he could do one for me in a vine motif?
And fewer spiders.
He likely could.
I assume he uses something like this.
Saw one on the news a few weeks ago. Prices start at around $2k for a smaller printer, IIRC.
An engineering friend of mine has been reading up on 3D printers so he could program a guitar template. He's going to be pissed.
love the Spidey one
So, what tonewoods is he using?
It's cool. He might still be able to make the first one that isn't ugly as shit.
He wants a 7-string Carvin with a quilted maple top, red stain, and gold hardware.
We have one of those at work. It's cool watching it do its thing. We use it for prototyping parts.
Yeah, a 3D printer might have been used to make the body. But, I wonder how durable ti would be. IIRC, the resins used for 3D printing aren't super strong. Still, it looks kind of intersting.
it says Spider-Man
toi me, anyways
I'd give a go on it
Now I know what to do with all those Kinects my boys don't play with anymore.
send them to Peeker?
Some more pics here.
Plus an LP style with a wood centre.
