Cool 1970s yard truck, somewhere in South Carolina. It worked, too!

Evening storm in Monteagle, TN

I stopped at that welcome center 17 years ago near the end of the first day of a two-day drive, having packed up my shit and left home for San Antonio.

Nice pics. Kudos to you being able to drive a rig on the interstate with all the idiot drivers out there.

Nice pics, great cloud shot at Monteagle.

A few months ago, I saw an old Fredrickson semi that someone had converted into a flatbed truck. I didn't speak with the guy, so I do not know if he was going to add a pickup bed.

you need to start a series of drivers picking their noses. i always keep a count on long road trips. i never count myself tho.

Have some more!

The Cinnabon at the Hebron, IN Pilot put this on my roll to mark who it was for (I was wearing my Killers shirt)

Awesome pics, Kelly.

What the hell is that old car with waterskis for front wheels?
It's a Snowmobile! The Illinois Toll Highway System doesn't have rest areas, but the tri-state tollway has "Oasis" similar to what you see on the Ohio, Indiana, or PA turnpikes, though smaller. This is at the O'Hare Oasis (so named for its proximity to the airport) There's a big classic car museum/dealership in the Chicagoland area that rotates vehicles into and out of the Oasis as an advertisement. What you see there is a Ford Model T retrofitted with skis and treads by The Snowmobile Company.

You aren't no touch freight?
99% yes. Only loads I touch are the forklifts. And I'm ok with that. They block them in at the factory with a bunch of oak chocks and nails and you have to smash the blocks away with a demolition hammer. It's fun as hell.

Really tricky back at a HyVee in Moline, IL. My trailer is right up against the door, flat, there. I had to maneuver around those catering vans you see in the foreground. There was a third, but it left before i could take the picture.

I can't remember if I posted this one. That yellow thing is a bolt seal. The loop it's through is for something called a door strap. The seal-hole is down on the door handle.

This truck isn't mine, but it made a good shot and I'm gonna send it to recruiting later.

Thunderstorm about 30 miles away. It actually spawned a Tornado warning, if I'm not mistaken.

Too many rainclouds :(

We need to send some of this rain to California :embarrassed:

Awesome pics though, keep 'em coming!
