Achtung! Harmony Central is currently under maintenance. We have some new and exciting things on the way.

I didn't realize it was still up. I started seriously losing interest in it when there was this very big battle between... I don't even remember their monikers, but Django something? Him, and I think Jimmy James, and it was the same fucking thing in every thread. It was so boring and pointless, I just stopped going there.

HC 2.0 was the last straw. Tried it out, but it just didn't work right.

No, wait, wrong name. Django was... Jason? Who the hell am I thinking of, then? The guy who was always arguing with Jammity.

Django Sentenza? That looks like him from the few posts I'm allowed to view, but I don't remember that name.

yeah, I know who you're talking about, and I'll just never understand that mentality. I don't get the point of trolling. Never will.

Yesterdays update:

Updated April 19th, 2014

Speed Issue Update: The hardware update and the VB updates did not fixed the speed issue. We have some more things to try over the next week. We'll post the results as we implement them.

VB Bugs: Almost all of the current issues have been identified as VB bugs. We've submitted them to VB and will update the VB software as the new updates come out. We'll have our developers create patch fixes for any issues that are deemed urgent.

VB Tutorials - Here are some links that might help learn the ins-and-outs of using VB...

I located my user profile there. I joined in December of 2004.

There must have been some data purges because once I got to 20,000 posts there I stopped posting for a while (pretended that I went into the light...) Eventually I came back and maybe made another 1000 posts, but that was when I started coming here. My post count now says 19,933.

I think I remember the Zdjango guy arguing with Jimmy and it seemed to somehow migrate to EVERY darned thread on that forum. But then, later, someone told me that Jimmy and Zdjango were the SAME GUY and I didn't know what to think.

Sounds familiar.

Are they just going to keep adding to that message...because nothing can be taken off the list?

Well, if they are waiting for vBulletin to fix the bugs in vB5 they are going to be pretty unhappy. I mean, it's only been out about a year or so at this point. How can they expect a company to deliver a functional product in that amount of time since its release to the public?

I seriously hope that's not the case. It'd be like when Wes Powell spent days deleting his posts so that it wouldn't seem like he spent as much time on HC like he did, only worse.

But then again, I never saw anyone on HC behave that way before he arrived (is it Zdjango he went by eventually?), and I know he went into his schtick almost immediately after joining. That normally doesn't happen, especially not in a forum where the in-jokes and behavior of various forumites are so idiosyncratic.

Django is someone else. I'm trying to remember his name but IIRC he played kind of original surf music/spaghetti western music and was a long time HC guy.
