Running the Way Huge Angry Troll into my Allen Encore filters the sound in such a way that it is kinda reminiscent of that Voxy thing I'm going after. It probably sounds nothing like it, but it's working for now!

So it's true. I've listened to about every last fucking VIAB demo there is. Since they're really all dirt pedals, none does what I want, which is really to emulate a Dr. Z Maz humming along nicely.

Looks like I'll just have to consciously save for a Maz then. Dammit.

I try not to buy stuff I'm hedging on. If I'm unsure from the beginning, it never works out. In this case, it's simply that I don't need it. I was able to make that case with my Allen. Not so here.
