It was a Warmoth body from the 90's that was painted by a local tech REALLY thin with Nitro. I think he also sanded it down a little bit.

Need to start working on my lap steel and get that into operation. Still have two guitars in pieces that I was rebuilding but got side tracked. Plus I need a couple of tools to complete that job.

Outside of that got a few electronic projects to finish. What I am proud of was the completion of my MIJ Squier. Plays and sounds like a dream.

My love of Firebird pickups has struck again. My Jag is getting a set of Duncan Antiquity II Firebird pups as soon as the custom guard arrives from Pickguardian. The pickups are already here, taunting me. They're going is this:

Temporary. The pickup it came with had 2 holes on one side, and 1 hole on the other. Also, I moved pickup over. Have pickguard material. Just waiting for the weather.

Also, I thought I might go to a single coil in the neck. Maybe. Had it a while and, still like the crazy 5 way switch, so I guess I'm sticking with a humbucker in the neck.
