It was ‘94 or so and I needed some kind of distortion for the band I joined. I knew nothing about pedals and it was the only distortion pedal the music store had. I used it for the 2 years I was in that band and it worked for that gig. The other guitar player had a Rat, which is when I fell in love with that pedal, but both of us usin a Rat wouldn’t have worked, so as soon as the band split, I got rid of that pedal and snagged a Rat.

USPS says it will be here tomorrow. I've got my sister in law's wedding tomorrow afternoon, on Sunday I have a server upgrade and I have to take our foster cats to an adoption fair. So earliest I'll get to give it a try is Monday and this one is going to be a huge learning curve for me. Hopefully I won't smash it with a hammer by Tuesday
