Product Description:

Gretsch Rancher acoustics are back and better than ever for 2014. The G5031FT Rancher dreadnought is one of the more distinctive Rancher models, with a beautiful Sunburst gloss finish and a sweet iso-chamber mounted Fideli’Tron™ pickup for great amplified tone and performance.

Other premium features include a bound solid spruce top with scalloped "X" bracing and the classic Rancher triangular sound hole (with binding), flame maple sides and bound arched back, mahogany neck, 16-fret rosewood fingerboard with Neo-Classic™ “thumbnail” inlays, volume control, compensated bridge saddle with rosewood base, deluxe tuners, and gold-plated hardware.

What was refurbished on this guitar:
When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a small lacquer crack on the top near the volume knob. The crack was expertly repaired by the refurbisher - completely sealed and re-finished (see photo). No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. Aside from the minor lacquer repair, it looks and plays like new.

Optional Guardian hard case available for $75.

Minus the electronics, sure. "Rancher" brings to mind open prairie, campfires, and generally being away from anything you're going to plug into. At least for me.
