D'Angelico doesn’t make anything. Somebody tried to cash in on the boutique guitar trend by buying the name and using it to sell generic MIK guitars with art deco headstocks and trim.
 
That's a bummer. Never played one, but I do think a lot of their stuff (original or wannabe) does look pretty cool.
