I think Andy likes to challenge us.
I think he tries to find guitars that are different.
Sometimes I like them, sometimes I hate them.
Actually, most times I hate them, but they ARE different from your standard every day run of the mill guitars you'd find in the LGS.
Really, the desciptions of these things are what keep me chuckling.
Take yesterday's GPOTD.
The guy selling that turd is out of his mind.
But it is entertaining to read.

Many of these options are not mutually exclusive.
Andy does a fine job. He does post way too many solidbodies, especially ones with Floyds and HBs. But he does receive significant pressure from crazy lobbyists, so I can forgive him for that.

Hating the gpotd (in most cases) is one of the best parts of my time on the forum. Hating the guitars and loving the gpotd threads are not mutually exclusive.
