Good customer service

Common misfit
I'm gonna blow my own horn.
A customer called me at 10 pm last Saturday night. She was in her van in the parking lot at her apartment and her power wheelchair was dead. She was stuck in her van.
After driving over, figuring out the problem, returning o my house for more tools, I got her running about 11:30.
No charge.

But then, when you can't walk, a dead power chair is a little more than merely an inconvenience, especially stuck outdoors in 90 degree weather.

But did my boss give me an "attaboy?" Fuck no.

Good stuff, EG. As you know by now, we do good things not because we'll get recognized for it, but because we have to live with ourselves.
