Officer Morrison (cop0 -- no, not really. Great guy) called me while I was on the way home and said that he had some paperwork for me to fill out. When I got there he said that he actually called me there under false pretenses, and then handed me the guitar! He said that the owner had meant it for someone who had moved out of state and that that person and he both felt that my daughter should have it.

Well, it goes to her then! Excuse to get another guitar! Eventually.
