Serial number has been "rubbed off" (WTF?) but pot codes date the guitar as a 76. Someone's offered me this exact guitar in trade for something else. I don't know enough about Gibsons to be able to tell if anything fishy is up.
Not sure I want to make the trade either way - perhaps a few too many alarm bells going off here - just wondering what you guys thought.

This is my most favorite of all time.............It's a dinky old Ibanez that was only made for two years..Something looks wrong with the headstock and tuners, too. Pass.

Here's a pic of my daughter playing it....
I've never heard another acoustic with so much deep and ritchness...

This thread. What did your daughter playing your Ibanez acoustic have to do with me saying the headstock and tuners don't look right on the Les Paul in the OP?You just lost me....Which thread/post???
Come over here you big dummy....Lolz
Not much,really......Not sure what just happened.
I was actually alluding that the LP in the OP might be fake.Oh..Ok..Sorry..My mind tends to drift...My fault.....
The word headstock took me there....
I assumed what you meant by the fact that the headstock didn't look right was insinuating that it may have been replaced,or re-glued......
The Ibanez that my daughter is picking had its headstock re-glued....
Well,I'm not much of an eluder...............I was actually alluding that the LP in the OP might be fake.
