Getting GAS Again

Gary Blanchard

beloved, local musician
I'm thinking of talking to Yvonne about one of these:

I'm not sure what I'll do with it, but I am wanting it.

Techically, it is an ocatve mandolin or bouzouki. Depends on who is naming it. Not the same model or brand, but here is a clip that sold me.

I also think of Greek parties when I see a Bouzouki. Never tried one but I think it would be fun to mess with. For now I will remain Mandolin bound.

Pretty sure octave mandos and bouzos are tuned differently. I'd personally put more miles on the octave mandolin/mandocello, but I've got a bouzouki part written for a song we're putting on our next album, so I'd better learn to play it.

Oh man.....

I had an octave mando for awhile and regret selling it. How much are they asking for those? I seriously might get one.....
