Getting a new professional portrait done.

The professional association I belong to is requesting head shots; I am also working on a second edition of one of my books and the publisher will want a head shot. All my professional photos have short hair. I know some new clients find me online and then do a double-take when they see me. I tried to find the photographer I had been using, but she seems to have disappeared.

So, I have a new photographer coming to the office Saturday morning to do pictures. I have seen some of her work, and she is good; even better, her prices are reasonable. I am looking forward to the new photos!

So the photo shoot is over, and I had little problem smiling. It seems the photographer recently moved to Texas, but comes back to fulfill some obligations she made before she moved. It happened that she was in town this weekend and had some extra time and therefore was able to pick up some extra money. She says I should have the pictures some time this week. Now that job is done for a while.

And here the photographer assured me this was a unique pose. o_O Now that shot is out of the running. I guess I'll need to go with the full-frontal nude shot. :rolleyes:
