It's a modded ProCo Rat. The Rat and Turbo Rat being my favorite distortion pedals of all time. I sold my turbo rat when I liquidated my entire pedal collection about a year ago, and this might fit the bill as a replacement.

 
If I wanted a pedal that looked like it was haphazardly thrown together, I would haphazardly throw my own diy kit together. As it is, my diy's even look better than that.

My RAT 2 has been residing on my board for quite a while now. I think it's a keeper. I haven't tried any other Rats or boutique variants, so I don't know what I'm missing out on.
