Four Roses booze

Is four roses a good or great booze , specifically the "small batch" and the single barrel ? The reviews all point to pretty much great but thought I'd ask here .

Also how about that Jeffereson bourbon ? Any good ? Just looking for something different in the 20-40 dollar range.

yes FR and Jefferson are in general both considered very good ....but if they match your preferences in bourbon is a different kettle of fish all together.

I can recommend the Jefferson. Haven't had 4 Roses but I need to try it.

Four Roses Single Barrel is usually a great tasting pour. It varies a little from one bottle to the next since they are usually from different casks.

Four Roses is one of the best distilleries of liquor out there. I've been a fan for long time, so much so that I have bought 4 barrels over the last several years. Small batch is good, but single barrel is great. The barrel proof private selections range from good to life-changing. It's one of those brands that casual bourbon drinkers don't always know about, but anyone who is passionate knows them well.

I just got my first bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel.
