OK, initially I thought this was an anti-sandwich thing (which is just weird). It's not, it's just an anti-stupid-tourists-sitting-around-eating-on-the-steps thing. (which I'm kinda OK with)

I've been to Italy a few times. There is no need to eat sandwiches there. There are too many other amazing options.
