So I went to GC last night and pulled the trigger on a Ditto X2. Haven't really messed with it yet, but I'm thinking its gonna be fun. I got some valuable advice from a guy who also owns an EHX 720 that I was thinking about. He told me that you couldn't save or import stuff into it, and you had to re-do all your loops each time you started up. The last pedal I bought was a Fulltone Choralflange. I really get some use out of that with my Takamine. I am already thinking of laying down a rhythm track that sounds like a 12 string and then play a fingerstyle type lead on top.

I have my eye on one of those.
There is this partscaster plan too.
I also need to practice more to justify the cost.
 
I have to basic ditto and have been toying with the idea of an upgrade to the EHX 720 or the Ditto X2...while they do a lot of the same things, they each do things the other doesn't...I want the perfect amalgam of both. Actually, what I really want is the Ditto X4...that seems like a machine that can do a ton, while being simple enough that I can still wrap my brain around it.
