That guitar company that shall not be named made an ugly would be PRS-esque thing. This seems like Gibson's attempt at if you can't beat them, join them.
I think it's ugly as sin and just cheap looking...like a low-end poor knock-off (as alluded to above).
Bollinger is great for giving a feel of what the guitar, amp, or effect that he's demoing can sound like, but he'd make a Sears guitar through a Gorilla amp sound great.
I like the PRS more just because four knobs are nice to have. But the Gibson is only $9 more for a nitro finish and Gibson USA pickups. Which I would rather have than more knobs. But the open book headstock looks silly on this. Henry J. is probably already planning an Epi version with the fugly headstock.
It looks like a Wolfgang mated with a PRS 594 and changed it's name to Gibson.
I don't dislike it but they should have released it before PRS dropped the 594. Comparisons will be made.
I don't like single vol\tone. But that's just me.
