First gig in a few years - tonight. (now with video clips!)

We're leaving Nashville next week, so my former 90s rock cover bandmates insisted we do a last big show. It's been fun getting back into the groove. We're playing in a sketchy but very large (square footage) bar in our neighborhood tonight. Looks like we should have quite the turnout. Pretty stoked but also a little worried I'm gonna get wasted.

Wow. What a great night!

First, @Kerouac surprised me and showed up at the show. He and Mrs. Slim had conspired on that one.
Then the first set was a little touch and go, but the crowd was massive and energetic. The second and third sets were probably the most fun I've ever had playing music. Just perfect. Big, dancing, and singing crowd including most of my closest local friends.

Just when I was getting really content not to play in a band any more, I had to have an epic night like that... here comes the Jones to get back into it...
