you should check into the S.C.C.A. they run a LOT of rally races.

That's cool, but I can guarantee I will not be in Michigan this or any other September.

Nothing against Michigan, but I'm a west coaster with little desire to go back to the midwest for any reason. Been there, done that...
I will look into local (Cal) rallys, but most of my time and money will likely be spent on the BWM, and car control clinics / autocross that my friend runs for the Ca chapter of the Golden Gate BMW CCA.

Still, if I find a serviceable quaatro for a decent price I might have to pull the trigger.
