Fenugreek crackers.

I’m not a huge fan of Indian pickles. On their own or with rice they’re a little too funky for me. But on Monday a local Indian grocer introduced me to fenugreek crackers. They’re thick hot crackers reeking of Indian spices. If you’ve ever admired the smell of an Indian grocery store it was really just a box of fenugreek crackers you never noticed. On they’re on they’re not so great either. But use them to scoop up Indian pickles and they are just divine. It’s kind of illogical that something so rank and funky can taste good, but it does. Ask your local Indian grocer to help you pick some out.

Careful... eat too many and you'll smell like maple syrup all day.
