Question: Fender Acoustics!

A few years ago I bought a Fender acoustic at a garage sale. 50 bucks for the guitar and a hard shell case in fair condition. The guitar had a solid spruce top and had mile high action. After a good setup, it sounded really good, played easily, and I felt I made a very good score. It was less about the Fender on the headstock and more about the good work done in the Korean factory it came from.
 
Realizing this is an old thread, I've got a Fender Parlor guitar that's probably more plastic and glue than wood. It's got about the same tone as my ukulele, but for some reason it plays like an absolute dream. Which is unfortunate, as you can get a good-sounding guitar to play well, but there isn't a lot to do to make a sheet of plywood sound good.
