I’ve never been to a county fair. I don’t think there is one here. I did have the extreme honor of playing the Illinois State Fair four times in the late 90’s. The first time we played we got a live shot on the cover of the daily paper in Decatur. For me that was a real brush with “the big time”.

Our county fair already happened this month, July 11th -18th. I've never attended.
My son and I have made a tradition of going to the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur, CO each year. I've been waiting for the air quality to improve from the wildfires.
The State Fair in Pueblo, CO starts August 28th. We went late in the schedule last year and missed the rodeo. I want to catch the rodeo if we go this year.
