what could a new DM-2 bring you that the Korg from the other day won't?
For me, it's about the interaction and range of the knobs. I've stuck with my old DM2 because I know exactly how to dial in a couple of very particular settings almost instantly. If they've nailed that, it's a winner.

True. But OGG is already buying the Korg.
 
Then why buy the Korg?

Seriously though, the Korg is an instrument unto itself. It's capable of so much more than just standard echo. The DM2 is just a lush analog delay that is perfect in its role as such. With the type of music my band is playing, I could put both to very good use individually.
